The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced the election of its 2022 Executive Board (EB) and Board of Industry Leaders (BIL). The Executive Board is CTA’s governing board and the Board of Industry Leaders serves as an advisory panel on public policy.
Bridget Karlin, senior vice president of information technology for Kaiser Permanente, will serve as EB chair. Deena Ghazarian, founder and CEO of Austere, and Dr. Carmichael Roberts, co-founder and chairman of Soft Robotics, will serve as board vice chairs.

Gary Shapiro will continue to serve as CTA president and CEO; and Glenda MacMullin, COO and CFO, CTA, will continue to serve as EB treasurer. Daniel Pidgeon, CEO of Sears Home Services, will serve as EB secretary with Kailey Adametz and Suzanna Kang of CTA serving as assistant secretaries.
