Two leading home technology integration firms with strong presence in their local markets have developed a unique way to expand geographically. Guild Alliance members SAV Digital Environments in Bozeman, Mont., and Premiere Systems with locations in Chicago and Naples, Fla., have announced a joint venture to take the reins of the Jackson Hole, Wyo.-branch of Xssentials, an integration company with locations in Denver, Aspen and Vail, Colo. The Wyoming location of Xssentials will be relaunched as PSAV, combining the expertise and experience of both SAV and Premiere to create a new home technology integration firm that will broaden Jackson Hole’s ever-growing luxury residential market.
“For more than 30 years, Xssentials has been the go-to firm for smart home technology adoption in the Jackson Hole area, serving thousands of happy customers,” says Cory Reistad, president of SAV. “Now, Jackson Hole is expanding at breakneck speed with numerous second homes and resort properties. PSAV will serve Xssentials’ existing clientele, as well as harness the combined power of SAV and Premiere Systems to grow alongside the local luxury residential market with the right amount of momentum to keep up.”
“The relationship between Premiere and SAV has always been one of mutual admiration, with similar business practices and objectives. Joining forces to assume control of Xssentials and launch PSAV is a growth step for both companies and will ultimately benefit luxury homeowners in Jackson Hole by matching their demand for smart-home technology in new and remodeled homes,” says Ken Johnson, owner of Premiere Systems.
Following the business models of both SAV and Premiere, PSAV will strive to be in lockstep with the design-build community in Jackson Hole. With plans to launch a new showroom experience that will be co-located with local builders and interior designers, PSAV will be able to show potential clients how the best home technology can work beautifully in conjunction with design and other home systems.
“We anticipate exponential growth, with plans to hire local employees to match pace with the design-build community and help achieve our lofty goals.”

“The creation and expansion of PSAV will potentially result in new jobs generated in the local economy. We anticipate exponential growth, with plans to hire local employees to match pace with the design-build community and help achieve our lofty goals,” says director of quality and customer of SAV, Scott Abel.
Reinforcing their like-minded business goals and practices, SAV and Premiere Systems are both members of The Guild, an alliance representing the highest standard of technology integration firms for both residential and commercial projects of all sizes. SAV and Premiere Systems are also aligned in the larger picture of global social responsibility and local philanthropy.
SAV is heavily invested in local nonprofits like Big Sky Youth Empowerment and Thrive, both which provide opportunities for children and teens to succeed and become valuable members of their communities. Premiere Systems is involved with organizations such as UMI, which provides medical and educational assistance to India and Nepal; provides surveillance cameras and IT support to San Bartolome School of Itzapa in Guatemala to protect the children and resources of the school; and is active in Parents for Peace & Justice, Chicago.
Xssentials, which was founded by three home-technology veterans — David Daniels, Mike Thul and John Carlen — will continue to operate in its other existing locations.
