Although each of the individual buying groups had already made announcements to their respective memberships over the past several months, Snap One made it official as the company formally announced it is partnering with Azione Unlimited, Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), Home Technology Specialists Nationwide (HTSN) within the Nationwide Marketing Group, and ProSource, a unit of BrandSource.
The partnerships are a key part of Snap One’s long-term strategy to help dealers succeed.
The drive to forge the partnerships between Snap One and the buying groups was driven by Greg Simmons, Snap One Vice President of Industry Partnerships.
As a longtime integrator, Simmons was active in ProSource and other networking groups and recognizes the value the organizations bring to their members, which goes well beyond just discounts on product purchases but extends to education, business advice and more.
Simmons says all four partnerships help the company to support more integrators, or “partners” as Snap One refers to dealers, and ensure products are available through whatever procurement channels they prefer.

“Buying groups provide unique benefits to Partners, and we are excited to now be a part of all four major CEDIA U.S. organizations,” Simmons says.
“Azione, HTSA, HTSN and ProSource each help their members strengthen their business development skills, promote best practices and host focused annual or bi-annual events. We always strive to support and assist the most integrators we can, wherever they source our products.”
The buying groups represent nearly 1,300 top-performing integrators, making them important partners and an integral part of the company’s marketing strategy.

“Based on my experience as an integrator, I know very well how buying groups can help grow a business, provide educational opportunities and offer chances to meet with non-competing peers,” Simmons added.
“We see great value in each group’s annual or bi-annual events, where we have a chance to meet with our Partners and ensure each and every one is satisfied with our products and services.”
Buying groups are membership-based organizations that provide custom integrators with access to leading vendors, technologies, educational opportunities, programs and industry events.
